HRLife is delighted to be working with an innovative, growing European Manufacturing business to support their search for a proactive in-house recruiter. Reporting to the HR Director and working as part of a small, very friendly HR team you’ll have responsibility for the full end to end recruitment process, supporting your hiring managers to source engineers and head office roles using a variety of market approaches.

This is a varied role that will include:

  • Undertaking initial role briefing meetings to understand hiring manager needs and devise the best hiring strategy
  • Directly identifying and engaging high-quality candidates
  • Screening, interviewing and shortlisting, keeping all parties updated and engaged throughout the process
  • Providing good quality and constructive feedback
  • Building and nurturing talent pools for future hiring needs
  • Managing the offer process and supporting with onboarding
  • Attending weekly recruitment activity update calls/meetings
  • Promoting the Company’s reputation and their values
  • Ad hoc project work such as delivering recruitment and interview training

This is an ideal opportunity for a recruiter with previous inhouse experience who is looking to develop their experience. Someone who enjoys working on their initiative and taking ownership of recruitment projects and campaigns from start to finish; ensuring a positive candidate and hiring manager experience. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Good experience in sourcing and attracting candidates using a variety of different methods including LinkedIn, Job Boards, Careers Fairs
  • Previous experience of blue collar / industrial / engineering recruitment experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience of recruiting apprentices would be advantageous
