People and Talent Business Partner

Looking for a role in a small, growing, creative business, working closely with the founders and senior team? We have a 15-month FTC for a People and Talent Business Partner supporting on all things people and culture related, ensuring the people and the business continue to thrive. This is a stand-alone HR role in a collaborative, entrepreneurial, high performing small business where no two days are the same. Based in East London, this role could be either 4 or 5 days a week, with 3 days in the office.
Understanding that people are the heart of their business, you’ll touch on all people-related activities ensuring this a great place to work. The role will be a broad generalist one with an emphasis on recruitment and onboarding continuing through to talent management and employee engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the full recruitment lifecycle from initial taking of the brief through to onboarding
- Create a positive onboarding experience
- Support talent review processes
- Work with managers to help drive performance management
- Remuneration management
- Lead on employee engagement, from sending out the survey to identifying themes and taking relevant actions
This will be ideal for someone who has previous experience working in a small, vibrant business and will enjoy the breadth of a stand-alone role. Someone with good influencing skills and an agile mindset who has a passion for delivering excellence across the full employee lifecycle.
You’ll have:
- CIPD, minimum level 3
- A proven track record in working with managers to drive performance
- Good HR systems knowledge, previous use of HiBob would be advantageous
- Experience of working in a similarly autonomous role
- The ability to work with ambiguity and the challenges that a small business, stand alone HR role can bring
£45-50k plus 10% bonus and other benefits
