People Partner – Northern Ireland

HRLife are excited to be working closely with a values driven, inclusive business to find them their next talented People Partner.  Working closely with line managers and the broader HR team, this is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn, has a genuine passion for people, can add value and bring change whilst at the same time ensuring an exceptional employee experience.  Building great relationships is key, as is the ability to communicate and work effectively with managers and deliver credible, pragmatic solutions. 

Key responsibilities will include;

  • Partnering with a specific area of the business to build great relationships with managers, coaching them and providing support and ideas to better equip them to develop their people
  • Advise and support managers on a variety of activities such as engagement, change, retention and culture
  • Upskilling managers to work with the specific CoE’s to make great people decisions
  • Create and embed new ways of working to support the growth and development of employees and line managers
  • Work with line managers to deliver innovative and tailored initiatives across the full people spectrum to include; workforce planning, talent management, succession planning and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
  • Lead and support with key people projects; ensuring they are well communicated and ensure they land with impact
  • Use data and insights to drive improvements in people performance and the overall ‘employee experience’
  • Experience of TUPE, managing pay queries and job evaluation would be high advantageous, but not essential
  • Have an excellent understanding of policies and employment law changes to be able to advise and make changes as required

This is an excellent opportunity to work with the broader People team, have the support and guidance from the Senior People Partner, but the autonomy and freedom to make a difference and build relationships with your own client group.  You’ll be data savvy, have a passion for taking on new things and broadening your experience, be able to have difficult conversations and give feedback, have impact and develop people and processes whilst embedding new ideas and initiatives making it a great place to work.

We are recruiting a few of these roles in different locations so it can be based anywhere in the UK with travel as required depending on business needs – on average 1-2 days a month.   If you are easily accessible to either Wales, Northern Ireland, London or Birmingham this would be a distinct advantage.

Salary to 43k plus bens.
