HRLife are delighted to be partnering with a mission-led business working to change people’s lives for the better, as they look to hire a People Business Partner. You’ll be joining at an exciting time of change, so whilst the role is a generalist one, you’ll have plenty of exposure to work on and lead many different projects.

Working closely with the People Director to deliver the People Strategy for the business you will take responsibility for your own client group as well as managing and developing two others within the team.

As People Business Partner you’ll have a real opportunity to have a positive impact on the people experience and will be given plenty of accountability and autonomy to create fit for purpose people solutions. This role covers a broad remit and is a mix of the strategic and operational, encompassing Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, and an ambitious EDI strategy. Key responsibilities include:

  • Business partnering with multiple stakeholders, building effective relationships.
  • Managing complex ER issues to conclusions; offering advice and guidance.
  • Coaching and partnering with managers as they build their teams.
  • Supporting the development of a culture that underpins the business strategy.
  • Working with the Recruitment Manager to increase a continuous pipeline of strong talent.
  • Utilising data and insights to help drive solid decision making.

This will suit an experienced HR Business Partner used to working in a fast-paced environment, someone who is naturally curious and enjoys change. A creative thinker who enjoys being innovative and looking for solutions. You’ll have a proven track record of dealing with complex ER issues and a proactive approach to risk management. Excellent communication skills are a must as are strong influencing skills.
