Interim HR Generalist

HRLife are working with an innovative, technology business to find them an Interim HR Generalist for an initial temporary period of 3-6 months.
Reporting directly to the COO, this is a broad generalist role and will cover the whole spectrum of HR from providing operational day to day advice and guidance to embedding strategic activities to develop a high performing organisation with a super engaged workforce.
This is a stand-alone role and requires someone who can hit the ground running, own HR processes and handle a wide range of challenges in a small and relatively young organisation.
You’ll be flexible, able to turn your hand to most things and have great communication and influencing skills. Travel to the London office once a week is required.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Manage the whole employee lifecycle, from induction to exit
- Lead the day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, input to payroll, and employee benefits
- Oversee all employee relations and people issues – supporting line managers and employees with advice as required
- Developing and overseeing the existing performance management process
- Leading all cross-company training programmes, including the coordination and planning of team days
- Managing Health & Safety processes
- Monitoring and reviewing HR policies and processes, updating as needed
- Providing HR metrics to the SLT on an annual basis
- Reporting key HR analysis and trends on a monthly basis.
You’ll come from a generalist background, ideally from a SME where no two days are the same! Ideally you’ll be well organised, delivery-oriented, a self-starter and motivated to make a positive difference to the performance and culture of the organisation.
Experience should include:
Solid operational HR experience, preferably in a small team or a in a stand-alone role
CIPD level 5 qualified (or above), or actively working towards level 5
Solid and up to date knowledge of UK employment legislation
Essential you are happy to be in the London office once a week. This role will either be offered on a day rate basis or FTC – flexible to consider both options.
Equivalent of 45-50k / £20-25 per hour.
