HRLife are pleased to be supporting a growing client to find their next talented HR Advisor. This is a great role for someone who has a couple of years’ experience working in an HR role who wants to learn, develop and build experience in ‘all things people’ and support with project work alongside providing seamless lifecycle administration to employees.
The role offers great exposure to stakeholders as you’ll be supporting them with advice and guidance on a variety of people issues such as absence, data, performance, ER as well as the opportunity to get involved in a range of projects. Reporting into a supportive HR Manager this would suit someone who is positive, has great communication and influencing skills who wants a broad generalist role where no two days are the same.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Coach managers and employees on a range of people issues such as absence, performance, disciplinary and grievances
- Work with managers to upskill and coach them on having difficult conversations, educating them on processes and policies
- Prepare reports and analysing data; identifying trends and making recommendations for improvements
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and procedures in line with current legislation
- Coordinate and manage all long-term absence, take part in meetings and implement any necessary adjustments
- Oversee the payroll process, making relevant changes to ensure employees are paid correctly and on time
- Take ownership of all GDPR related tasks and requests, adhering to legal requirements.
- Manage all recruitment admin, ensuring a great candidate experience
- Embed new initiatives around wellbeing and D&I
- Support the HR Manager to develop and implement effective HR policies and practices that will support the strategic growth of the business
- Assist and support in strengthening the reward and recognition programmes, including reviewing the current benefit packages to ensure the business remains competitive
- Contribute and assist in business focused projects; Retention, Mental Health, Employee Engagement, Reward and Recognition
- Own the lifecycle administration – onboarding, inductions, starters and leavers, offboarding etc.
This is a great role for someone who likes to be busy, enjoys a varied role, can influence and work closely with the business.
Ideal background will include;
Minimum CIPD L3 or equivalent
Previous experience in dealing with ER cases such as Grievance/Disciplinary hearings
This role is hybrid. 3 days a week in the office in North Surrey, 2 days at home.
Salary 40-45k plus benefits and bonus.
