HR Advisor – 12m FTC

HRLife are delighted to be working with a highly successful, fast-paced, commercial business who are looking for an HR Advisor on a 12-month FTC. Working with the HRBPs you will be responsible for a range of HR activities including supporting with recruitment, ER case management, upskilling managers on all things people as well as helping drive the D&I agenda. This will be a varied role encompassing:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation using the HR system
  • Providing HR support and advice to managers and employees on various HR-related matters
  • Supporting with recruitment from posting jobs, screening cvs, shortlisting candidates, telephone screening and organising interviews through to onboarding successful hires
  • Delivering line-manager training on a range of HR topics

To succeed in this role, you’ll have previous HR Advisor experience with a strong understanding of HR best practises and employment legislation. Experience of having worked in a commercial environment is a must and it would be advantageous if you’ve previously supported both blue and white collar workers.

In addition, your background will include:

  • Previous knowledge of recruitment and selection processes, employee relations, performance management, and training and development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with managers and employees
  • Self-motivated, organised, and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent would be advantageous

Based North Oxfordshire. Hybrid working – 3 days in the office
