Jemma and Kerry started working together in 2004 and focused on building long-lasting relationships that eventually saw the line between candidate and client blur as impeccable service and excellent delivery saw candidates turn to clients and vice versa.

Since graduating in 2000, Jemma has always worked in the corporate world focusing on HR recruitment. Having had national roles, managed remote teams and done the weekly trek to London, Birmingham and Milton Keynes for a number of years, Jemma is excited to be managing her own destiny!

 

What Jemma particularly enjoys about HR recruitment is that every day is spent with people - be it clients, candidates or colleagues. She loves the buzz of meeting an impressive candidate, a client with a new brief talking about their future plans and like most passionate recruiters she still gets a kick from finding someone their dream job.

 

With the start-up of HRLife she is excited to be working again with a trusted business partner who like her is a people person, hence the HRLife strap line, 'People people'.

Kerry Miller

Having ventured into the world of recruitment 20 years ago, Kerry has spent 17 of those years specialising in the HR market place. Having initially taken a leap of faith and moved away from Finance recruitment to set up the newly created HR, offering she hasn’t looked back. She’s enjoyed working with a diverse client base, recruiting roles across all the specialisms within HR and has built long established relationships.

 

She’s passionate about really getting under the skin of both candidates and clients and understanding their needs and motivations. Having seen the world of HR evolve over the years so Kerry has moved between placing interim specialists through to fulfilling senior search campaigns but always with the aim of finding the right people for the right businesses.

 

Having decided now is the time to embark on her next challenge, she’s looking forward to the new chapter at HRLife!

Justine Abri-Hodder

With a background in both agency recruitment and internal HR roles, Justine joins HRLife as their Candidate Engagement Manager. Working alongside Jemma and Kerry and coming with a wealth of expertise within recruitment, talent and communications Justine will focus on ensuring a positive recruitment journey for all their candidates.

 

Having worked together 12 years ago recruiting in the HR market, Justine went on to pursue a career in-house, working for large corporates in their recruitment teams managing end to end recruitment assignments, from liaising with the line managers to understand their hiring needs through to on-boarding. It was during this time that Justine gained experience in the wider talent role and what impact good process and comms could make on the whole candidate experience.
